Unsolicited Art For The Masses

So, things have been getting on top of me recently, my Dad died of heart failure last week and in all honesty with all the crap I’m having to deal with I’m not the best person in the world to be writing a blog right now. But, and this is a big but, the fact is I’ve received so much support and some truly beautiful messages of condolence that I feel I owe it to all those who make the effort to read my drivel to keep knocking it out no matter what.

I got some spam today, for some reason it wasn’t automatically consigned to the trash, and I’m glad it wasn’t because it happened to hark from www.Spiced-Art.com – the home of spart which as you may have guessed is a curious combination of spam and art. What I like about sparts is that they’re not selling anything, they’re well drawn, and usually pretty funny. If you don’t feel the same and are stuck on their list email stopspart@gmail.com. If you’d rather give them an earful for clogging up your inbox then email spartattack@gmail.com or unleash them on all your frenemies and email your list to startspart@gmail.com. Here’s a taster of what will come your way if you do…

You Suck Spart
Heart Spart
Quit Spart
Gun Spart
Blunt Spart
Spam Spart
Blow Spart

At least I’d give the guy/girl behind Sparts 10/10 for originality, I mean, coming up with the idea of making spam fun and inviting is somewhere verging on genius, or maybe madness, I can’t really tell.

Anyway, check out the rest of the arty spam and sign up for more at www.Spiced-Art.com

Many thanks MtnGrl – it’s a two way street – the kind comments and emails and my blogs have helped me retain some kind of sanity ;)

How witty and to the point!
Interesting how one can take a negative and somehow turn it into a positive through simple art ~

    This art is hilarious.

So simple and right up my street.

I request a picture of an olive with “get stuffed” underneath.

    These are perfect for t-shirts.

    Cheers
