Sampa Graffiti
South American filmmaker Paulo Taman tipped me off about his fascinating series of documentaries covering the graffiti scene in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Here’s the latest one which focuses on the work of street artist Gen Duarte.
You can see more of Gen’s work at Flickr and you can find Paulo Taman’s graffiti documentary series at Youtube.

They are all magnificent! Wow! Now, that’s damned original! It’s truly amazing what some designers and artists are able to come up with! ;)
I was actually commenting about the “greed and power” rings. But hey, the graffiti is cool also! ;)
Gen Duarte’s works look even more awesome in full view (I follow the link to his gallery in flickr). Looks like he does paintings too.
Lol okay Diva – I should have guessed! :D
Lovely stuff. He’s a master of the line. Yep paintings too! Cheers Bruno.
