R. Black Posters

If you’re a poster collector you probably know R. Black‘s work very well already but I can’t resist posting up some of his latest work just as a little eye candy to keep you going. That is if you like it with a bitter-sweet taste… His usually dark, brooding pulp style has taken on a little more colour these days, with a few more sly nods and winks towards the world of film and arts alongside the usual rock excess you’ve come to expect. I particularly like his interpretation of the classic Kubrick movie “The Shining” for a recent exhibition “Artwork and No Play” at the Phonebooth Gallery.

Right now you can still buy his book “The Art of R. Black” via TFAW, many of his rock posters at GigPosters.com and if you have the dough you can commission a piece here.
