Matthew Davis is a rare talent. A painter with a unique method, a true reinvention of the rather staid art of Pointillism, Davis’ pooling of household gloss paint on to canvas captures our shared and perceived reality in all its scientific glory. Vision, physical form, colour and light, everything around us is merely the result of a coagulation of billions of atoms jostling with each other for position and precedence.
