Living Shadows by Muk
Austrian artist Andreas Haider (aka muk) really moved reality up a notch with his hyperactive installation Skia. In true Disney style his hyperactive installation brings its participants shadows to life with a little infra red trickery and some openframeworks coding.

More recently Haider has focused attention on the ongoing political football ‘The War on Terror’ in his new installation Potential Terrorist, where no one escapes from the eyes of the authorities. In fact muk has even had trouble from the police with this installation. I can imagine ad agencies grabbing hold of this idea with two hands, giving a whole new angle on ‘pop up’ ads.
